Do you realize an open garage door can be an invitation for thieves to enter your house?  While some thieves maybe teens looking to steal a bike or skate board, there are also those more hardened criminals who may risk breaking into your car or home in hopes of finding something more valuable.  During the summer months people are working in their yards, staying out later and sometimes leaving their garage doors open.  Please make yourself a note and put it on your fridge, or in another conspicuous place, that reminds you to check to your garage door before going to bed.  (For more information see April, 2010 Crime Prevention Connection)
